A Bit About Me
My life goal is to make people smile. I want to be able to help people in an impactful way. After finishing my degree in a human/client-centered degree, I learned a lot about human behavior that I would like to apply to my job. Nobody is a number. Everyone has something to tell. Something to do. For me, that is finance and marketing. I would love to assist people in financial challenges or solving issues in the finance space. At the same time, I have a background in marketing with different startups. I enjoy learning more about design. Slowly, but surely, I want to learn all there is in marketing as well.
My background is unconventional, but I plan to pave a path that is my own. I am going to learn a million things because I want to. I am going to help many people because I know I can. One step at a time.
Work Experience
Strategy and Planning Coordinator
September 2023 - Present
Marketing Specialist
September 2023 - March 2024
My current role is at Seeds of Success, a mental health nonprofit. The mission is to provide the tools for students to gain access to basic mental health resources. As a strategy and planning coordinator, I have the privilege to help different teams on strategic and internal decisions. I formulate our budget, expenses, and cash flow using information from other teams. In the past, I created marketing materials and structured the social media team.
Flow Lobby was a networking app. It brought together gamers without the clutter that current social platforms have. As a marketing specialist, I designed over 50 assets for social media through Figma. Other accomplishments include working on project management for the team, making the first marketing plan, and leading reviewing future posts.
Administrative Assistant
February 2022 - May 2023
At the University of Wisconsin - Madison, I was a desk worker or administrative assistant. I resolved unique student issues and acted as a point of contact for safety and other concerns. I was also a resident assistant at the time, so both of these positions required me to be ready for any scenario that college students may go through.
